Powerball jackpot climbs to $510 million, while Mega Millions is at $20 million

The multi-state Powerball lottery jackpot has climbed to $510 million after a drawing Wednesday, Aug. 16, failed to produce a ticket with all six winning numbers.

The next drawing is Saturday.

The numbers drawn were 9, 15, 43, 60, 64, and the Powerball number was 4. The jackpot was $430 million. A ticket with five numbers but missing the Powerball number was sold at a gas station near Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and is worth $608,157.
