Orange County Courthouse hosts Valentine’s Day vows

Love was in the air and the Old Orange County Courthouse was open for business on Valentine’s Day.

“It’s the most romantic day for our office and the busiest day,” said Hugh Nguyen, Orange County clerk recorder.

Nguyen said his office had been planning for Feb. 14 for more than a month, and had extended office hours to accommodate the crowd. He expected more than 80 couples to pass through the historic doors in Santa Ana Wednesday and roughly 80 more at two other locations in Fullerton and Laguna Hills.
