Chic and serene Noho pad with soaring ceilings wants $975K

Huge windows let plenty of light in to this loft-like apartment

Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

Apartments at 77 Bleecker Street in Noho are notorious for their odd layouts, but some of the co-op’s residents have made good use of their spaces (which are often duplexes or come with loft beds). This apartment, listed with Compass for $975,000, is one such place; though it has one of those loft beds, it’s bright and airy space, with huge windows and 13-foot ceilings that let plenty of light in.

After a renovation, the place has plenty of contemporary touches—the kitchen is especially nice, with walnut cabinetry and a breakfast bar—and an actual staircase, rather than a creepy ladder situation, leads to the lofted bedroom. But beamed ceilings and an exposed brick wall add character; the overall effect is rather serene.

Other perks include a walk-in closet on the upper level, a dining alcove on the lower one, and a Juliet balcony. Maintenance comes in at $1,448.93/month.
